The government of Uttar Pradesh, established Avadh University, Ayodhya, initially as an affiliating university by it's notification No. 1192/fifteen-10-46(6)-1975 dated 04 March, 1975 and appointed Prof.(Dr.) Surendra Singh as the first Vice chancellor. In 1993-94, it was renamed as Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya in the memoriam of late Dr. Rammanohar Lohia, an epic socio-economic ideologue and freedom fighter par excellence.
Post : Jr. Research Assistant (JRA)
One Jr. Research Assistant is required in a project entitled “Investigating the Comprehensive Mechanisms of Carbon Nanoparticle-Induced Toxicity in Lepidopteran Pests: A Perspective on Agricultural Implications” (Project ID-3421) financially supported by CSTUP, Lucknow. The eligibility, duration, stipend, selection and other terms and conditions of JRA is mentioned below. The mode of selection will be through walk-in interview.

Eligibility : Only Indian citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for Research Asst ships/ Associate ships in the research projects funded by CST UP. The candidate must hold a degree of M.Sc. (Ag.), /M.Sc., /M. Pharm., /M.V.Sc., / Bachelor of Engg. /Technology (B.E./B. Tech.) or equivalent degree. High academic attainment with 1st class in graduate and post graduate examination. The upper age limit for Junior Research Asstt. shall be 28 years as on 1st April of the year in which the application is made.
Project Duration : Three Years or as decided by the CSTUP, Lucknow.
Consolidated Emolument : Rs. 25,000/ per month for two years and Rs. 28,000=00 for third year.
Conditions : The candidate after engagement as Project Fellow will not seek any claim in future for his/her appointment or adjustment against any academic or non-academic post of the university.
