Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is an Autonomous Organization, under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt, of India. ICMR is dealing with biomedical/ health research in various areas, in collaboration with National/ International agencies, through its Headquarters at New Delhi and 27 Institutes/ Centres and a large number of field stations, situated across the country.
Post : Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)
Walk-in interview will be conducted on 19.10.2023 for the following position under the Division of Central Procurement Cell, ICMR, to be filled on a purely temporary contract basis under the project entitled “Creation and maintenance of a dashboard as “Registry of ICMR research equipment” in the ICMR web portal”.

Consolidated Emoluments : Rs. 67,000/- + HRA = Rs. 85,090/-per month
Maximum Age Limit : 40 Years
Essential Qualification : 1st class Master’s degree (Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry) from recognized University with 4 years’ experience. OR 2nd class M.Sc. + Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry from a recognized University with 4 years’ experience.
Desirable Qualification :
1. Experience in Research Administration
2. Good Communication and writing skills
3. Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools/ data management.
Job Requirement : Candidate is required to coordinate with ICMR Institute/ Centers for “Creation and maintenance of a dashboard as “Registry of ICMR research equipment” in the ICMR web portal” and monitoring the work under this project and assist the Program officer in review of the data collected and preparation of reports and any other work assigned by Program Officer.
Place of duty : ICMR Hqrs. New Delhi.

• The engagement will be up to 07.08.2024 or up to the further extension period of the project, subject to satisfactory work performance and requirement.
• Canvassing in any form, shall be a disqualification.
• Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of India/ ICMR Norms.
• Experience shall be counted from the date of completion of minimum essential educational qualification.
• The Council reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of vacancies, as per requirement and reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any of the vacancy in view of work requirement.
• No benefit of provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered, except the consolidated pay, since the positions are purely temporary basis.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview/personal discussion.
• The above positions are filled-up on purely temporary basis and contractual basis. The candidate will have no right to claim for any type of Permanent Employment under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
