All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education. The Institute has comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and patient-care. As provided in the Act, AIIMS conducts teaching programs in medical and para-medical courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and awards its own degrees. Teaching and research are conducted in 42 disciplines.
Post : Research Associate I and Project Associate II
Applications are invited from interested candidates for posts of Research Associate I and Project Associate II in an extramural DBT funded project titled Molecular signatures of Parkinsons Disease in vivo : a deep brain stimulation approach, on a purely temporary basis.
Research Associate I
Eligibility : Essential : i) Ph.D./MD/MS/ MDS or equivalent degree.
ii) MVSc/M.Pharma/ MH/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation (SCI).
Desirable : Candidates with experience in Next Generation Sequencing and bioinformatics analysis will be preferred.
Age Limit : Up to 40 years
Experience : i) NIL
ii) Three years of research, teaching and design and development experience
Salary : As per DBT guidelines
Project Associate II
Eligibility : Essential: i) Master's Degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Biosciences /other related fields ii) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized / University or equivalent.
Desirable : Candidates with experience in patient recruitment, clinical data collection, administering the assessment scales, acquiring imaging data and blood samples will be preferred.
Age Limit : Up to 35 years
i) NIL
ii) Two years experience
