Job Description
Talent Acquisition is a key mission enabler at USP. We’re seeking an exceptional Recruiter to join our team. Our new team member will lead their hiring managers through the full lifecycle of recruiting for a variety of professional, technical, scientific, and administrative positions. Primary responsibilities involve deep partnership and with business leaders and hiring managers to effectively source, recruit, evaluate, interview, and select top talent to meet the organization’s talent needs.
The successful (Senior) Talent Acquisition Specialist will have strong relationship management and networking skills, be acutely customer-focused, articulate, and demonstrate initiative in all aspects of work. Organizational awareness, ability to use sound judgment and sharp interviewing/assessment skills are necessary for success in sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates who possess necessary qualities to succeed at USP. A keen desire to ensure our candidates have excellent interactions with USP in every way at every stage is paramount.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Handle full lifecycle recruiting for assigned searches beginning with a kick-off meeting with the hiring manager to discuss process and strategic approach;
• Execute agreed upon recruiting strategies and actively sources candidates;
• Conducts a talent market scan and creates an effective sourcing strategy based on business needs. Identifies candidates through standard and creative methods;
• Evaluate the resumes of prospective candidates and determines degree of skill match; recommends or declines appropriately and forwards qualified candidate resumes to the hiring manager for review;
• Track candidate activity from initial resume submittal to hire in the applicant tracking system (ATS);
• Conduct initial employment screening interviews by e-mail, phone, WebEx, Skype, or face-to-face;
• Coordinate all interview logistics and interfaces with candidates effectively during the recruiting and evaluation process;
• Coordinate receiving and evaluating of interview feedback and advises hiring supervisor in the final selection process;
• Coaches hiring manager and interview panelists through the interview process;
• Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits in making salary offers;
• Check references, verify educational credentials, and coordinate background investigation of selected candidate; negotiate and make verbal and written offers of employment;
• Manage the on-boarding process of each new hire recruited by collaborating with other HR CoEs.
• Participate in the preparation of weekly recruiting activity reports;
• Work with colleagues to prepare weekly reports to monitor recruitment activity, track vacant positions, recruiting strategies/sources, and costs;
• Continually network and builds contact in key functional areas to assist in future recruitment activities

Candidate Profile
• Master Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) or Pharmaceutical Sciences (M Pharm) with Distinction or Minimum 60 % of Marks (Candidate need to be consistently First Class all through the Academics)
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with diplomacy and enthusiasm.
• Technical and analytical skills required including the ability to interpret technical information.
• Desirable to have Theoretical knowledge of chemical methods and instruments like HPLC, HPTLC, UHPLC, GC, IC, FTIR, UV-Visible. Should have fair understanding of GLP regulations. Working knowledge of computer applications, such as MS Word and MS Excel and exposure to lab software would be advantageous.
