The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, has been on the map of higher education for more than three decades. Established in 1966, it has not looked back, now it has 170 affiliated colleges in 15 districts. Spreading over a campus of 264 acres, the university is booming with academic activities. While the undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in all disciplines of Art, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering and Medicine are offered in affiliated colleges and institutions, the residential wing of the campus includes faculties of Life Sciences, Business Management, Education and English.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to work as junior research fellow (JRF) under DBT sponsored project at University Institute of Pharmacy.
Title: “Isolation and characterization of bioactive components from indigenous plants of NEH region for anti-urolithiatic potential with standardized phytochemical and pharmacological parameters”
Duration : 03 years
Nature of Post: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential qualifications: M. Pharm./ MS (Pharm.) in PHARMACOLOGY (Candidates with GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent examination shall be preferred)
Desirable qualification: Experience in various surgical procedures on experimental animals
Fellowship: (As per DBT norms)
Rs. 25000/+20% HRA per month for the first two years
Rs. 28000/+20% HRA per month for third year
