A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 25th October, 2016 at 12:30 P.M. in the Office of the Head, Division of Molecular Medicine, Centenary Campus, Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 for one position of Research Associate or Senior Research Fellow (Extended) in the SERB(DST) sponsored project entitled, “Targeting the miRNA axis with a synthetic small molecule, Nifetepimine to restrict migration of triple negative breast cancer cells” under the guidance of Prof. Parimal C. Sen (Principal Investigator), NASI Platinum Jubilee Senior Scientist and Prof. Parames C. Sil (Co- Principal Investigator), Division of Molecular Medicine. The project is tenable upto 25.09.2019. Essential Qualification:
Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with Research Experiences in Molecular andCell Biology, familiar with cell culture technique and animal experiments
related to Cancer Biology. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis
with good publications and having research experiences in the relevant area are eligible for SRF(Extended) position.
Associateship / Fellowship:
Rs.36,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for Research Associate.
Rs. 28,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for SRF (Extended)
Age:
Below 35 years for RA / Below 33 years for SRF(Extended) (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only, as per rule)
Eligible and Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with a typed application addressed to the Sr. Prof. & In-Charge, Registrar’s Office, Bose Institute, P-1/12 C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700054 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from Secondary onwards and stating the area of research experience with attested copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets, reprints of publications and a copy of the thesis. Candidates should also bring original mark-sheets, certificates, testimonials, thesis and papers etc. at the time of Interview. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview
