M.Pharm, M.S Pharm, MSc Recruitment for the UPCST sponsored Project at NIPER

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Raebareli (NIPER-R), is an autonomous Institute of National Importance, established by the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, through an Act of Parliament. Its mandate is to deliver high-quality education and foster research in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Walk in interview for Junior Research Assistant (JRA) position under UPCST funded project

Applications are invited for the position of ONE Junior Research Assistant (JRA) to work in the UPCST - sponsored project entitled “Investigating the Therapeutic Potential of Capsicum annuum Ethanolic Extract in Arsenic-Induced Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI)” (Project ID: 4023) vide Sanction letter no. CST/D-789 “under the supervision of undersigned. The position is temporary and is available immediately up to two years or based on the candidate's performance each year.

Duration : 2 years or up to the termination of the project.

Co-PI : Dr. Nidhi Srivastava, Department of Biotechnology
Essential qualifications : The candidates should possess M.Sc. (Life sciences) / Toxicology, M.S. (Pharm.) or M. Pharm. in Pharmacology or Pharmacology & Toxicology / Biotechnology PG degree in other relevant branches of life sciences. High academic achievement with 1st class graduate and post-graduate examination with fulfillment of basic qualification.
Desirable skills : Preference may be for candidates with exposure to cell culture/histology/molecular biology and animal handling or other relevant experimental skills.
Age limit and UP Domicle : Maximum 28 years as of 1st April 2024 (age relaxation for SC/ST/PH is as per GoI rules) and the candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Tenure of Appointment : 2 years. The performance of the recruited JRA will be evaluated at the end of one year from the start of the project; and will be extended for another one more year based on satisfactory performance.
Consolidated stipend of INR 25,000/- per month for the 02-year duration (without any benefits of HRA, CCA, PF, LTC, medical claim, etc.) and will be governed by the funding agency CST U.P. guidelines & service conditions of NIPER- Raebareli.

Since the position is purely temporary, no claim for regular appointment/continuation of services in any other project will be entertained.

5. Please note that no TA/DA will be given to the candidates called for the interview. The candidate should come along with their original certificates at 12:00 pm on the scheduled date.
6. The above post is purely temporary and is a co-terminus with the project.
