Originally established by the Government of Kerala as an advanced centre for medical specialties, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology SCTIMST metamorphosed into an Institution of National Importance with the status of a University in 1980 under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India by an Act of Parliament. Qualification (Essential) : 60% marks in M.Sc (Chemistry / Biochemistry / Analytical Chemistry)
Qualification (Desirable) : Knowledge in computer operation.
Experience (Desirable) : One year experience in analytical techniques, handling of UV-VIs spectrophotometer, plate reader, X-ray Diffraction, FT-IR Spectroscopy
Job description : Take part in physic-chemical analytical jobs related to lab research work and projects, routine lab equipment maintenance, record keeping and custom synthesis and related work, etc.
Monthly emoluments : Rs.30,300/- (consolidated)
Age limit as on 31.10.2023 : 35 years
Duration : For a maximum period of 179 days or till an incumbent from out¬sourcing agency joins duty, whichever is earlier.
