CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, invites applications for the following posts in the prescribed application form from the young and dynamic candidates, who have excellent academic record & experience in the given areas as per following details:
Post: Pharmacist
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
SSC/10th standard with science subjects with 55% marks Plus 2 years duration Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Pay band & Grade pay: Rs.5200-20200/ PB-1 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-
Desirable Qualification / experience: Candidates having two years experience in relevant area shall be preferred.
Job Requirement: To assist the Medical Officers in IIIM Dispensary
GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
Application must be accompanied by one self attested photograph, synopsis sheet duly filled in the prescribed format, attested photocopies of certificates and testimonials and names of five to eight references with their contact details etc.
The applicant must be a citizen of India. The upper age limit will be reckoned as on 26.11.2014. The upper age-limit is relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH and Women candidates as per Govt. of India/CSIR instructions:
*The upper age limit, however, may be relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC as per Government orders in force only in those cases where the posts are reserved for respective categories and up to five years for the regular employees working in CSIR Labs./Instts., Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings.
* Age relaxation to Physically Handicapped (PH) persons is relaxable by 5 years in respect of the posts reserved for them. The persons claiming age relaxation under this category would be required to produce a certificate in prescribed proforma in support of their claims clearly indicating that the degree of physical disability is 40% or more.
* SC/ST/OBC candidates are required to attach/enclose attested copy of caste certificate in the prescribed format along with the Application Form.
* Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) must submit the attested photocopy of the current year’s caste certificate in the Central Govt. prescribed format issued by the specified competent authority (SDO/District Magistrate/ Dy. Commissioner) along with the Application Form. The certificate issued by Gazetted Officers should be countersigned by the District Magistrate or Dy. Commissioner. OBC candidates will be considered as per latest GOI/CSIR instructions.
*As per GOI provisions age is relaxable upto 5 years for widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from husbands.
* Relaxation in upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of J& K during the period of 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of domicile certificate [certificate must be attached with the application] from the District Magistrate in whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily resided OR from any other authority designated for this by the Govt. of J&K State.
*Applicants of Indian origin, settled abroad, who are of proven merit as evidenced by their research work, may be considered in absentia by the selection committee on request.
*Relaxation in upper age limit, qualifications and/or experience, in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates, (both departmental and outsiders) may be considered with the prior approval of competent authority.
*Applications from candidates working in Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings will be considered only when forwarded through proper channel within the prescribed time limit alongwith requisite NOC.
*Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained. Incomplete applications will not be entertained and is liable to be summarily rejected.
*Mere fulfillment of essential educational qualifications and/or experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The Institute will decide its own criteria to short-list the applications.

*Application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs.100.00 (Rupees One hundred only) drawn in favor of Director, Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu, payable at Jammu (Applicant should write his name and date of birth at the back of the DD). SC/ST/PH /Women Candidates and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.
*The candidates who want to apply for more than one post may submit separate application form along with all requisite documents and demand draft.
*Essential Qualification/Experience shall be reckoned on or before the closing date i.e 26.11.2014.
*Period of experience in a discipline/area of work shall be counted from the date of acquiring of minimum prescribed educational qualification upto on or before the closing date i.e. 26.11.2014.
*The positions carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees in the same pay scale posted at Jammu.
*Duly completed application should be sent in a sealed cover super-scribing “Application for the Post Code No.____/ Area _____“ to The Director, Indian Institute of Integrative, Medicine, Canal Road, Jammu PIN 180 001, so as to reach on or before the closing date 26.11.2014 before 5.00 P.M.
The decision of Director, IIIM in all matters relating to selection shall be final and binding on the candidates. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
Canvassing in any form or bringing any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification.
Check list: Attested copies of following documents must be attached with the application form.
a) Self attested photocopy of Date of Birth certificate.
b) Diploma/Degree certificate and mark sheet (year/semester wise) in support of essential qualification and any other higher qualification.
c) Synopsis sheet duly filled in the prescribed format.

e) Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Domicile of J&K, if applicable.
