The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.
Post : Junior Research Fellow, Scientist
Applications are invited for the following posts on an adhoc basis in the ICMR funded research project titled, “Indian Multiple Sclerosis and Allied Demyelinating Disorders Registry and Research Network”, in the Department of Neurology, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Scientist B (Non-Medical) - 01 BIOSTATISTICIAN
Qualification : (i) 1st class Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university OR
(ii) 2nd class Master’s Degree with PhD in relevant subject from a recognized university
Desirable : Applicants must have experience in using statistical softwares like STATA, SPSS, R, etc., for analysing data /data querying and drawing insights from large data sets, etc.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in managing large data sets, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, report writing.
Experience : (i) 2 years experience in related field
Age Limit : 35 years

Duration : 1 year (approx)
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 01
Qualification : (i) Post graduate degree in basic science OR (ii) Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC, NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable : Prior experience of working in Neurology/ Neurosciences/ allied clinical based research project OR Neuro-immunology related project. Prior experience of working in a multi centric project.
Age Limit : 30 years
