National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance with proclaimed objectives of becoming Centre of Excellence for advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER-Mohali was the first institute established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Govt. of India. Later, the DOP established 6 new NIPERs across the country including NIPER-Hyderabad which started functioning from 19th October 2007, from the premises of erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad.
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the position of project assistant at Department of Biological Science, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad, against the project entitled “Analysis the role of extracellular vesicles (Exosomes) in drug-tolerant persister cells and its contribution to cancer-initiating cells in breast cancer” under the PI Dr. Santosh Kumar Guru. The eligibility criteria for the position is mentioned below.
Project Assistant (n=1)
Essential : MSc in Life Sciences/ MS Pharm (Pharmacology or Biotechnology)/ M.Pharm. Pharmacology or Biotechnology/ MTech in Biotechnology with experience in invitro cell culture, molecular biology and Cell Biology.
Desirable : Candidate with relevant experience in Molecular biology, cell culture, and genome editing techniques will be preferred.
Salary : Rs. 20,000/- per month consolidated.
