The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Applications are invited on plain paper for the contractual post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST funded project under Dr. Bikash Medhi, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh - 160012. The post is purely on contract basis.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF-01)
Qualification : Master’s Degree in Pharmacology / Life Sciences with any specializations from recognized University (As per funding agency and institute rules).
Desirable : Preference will be given to GATE/NET or any other national exam qualified candidate and relevant experience in the field along with animal handling.

The above appointment will be purely on contract basis. Interested candidates fulfilling the above criteria required to submit their bio-data and necessary testimonial/ certiticates by 24.05.2021, in the Department of pharmacology, Room No. 4043, Research Block -B, 4th floor, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
