You will work to contribute papers to the selection process and also test the quality of annotation to ensure the grading systems put in place are working correctly. You will also take questions from end users and in consultation with the domain expert address the same. Also, you will work with the annotation, network building and science communication teams to support the project.

Job requirement
The incumbent will be interacting with the other teams to understand the workings of the MANAV platform and help assimilate the same to design teaching modules, communication material that will allow us to bring the MANAV platform to teachers and students in colleges across the country. Under the supervision of the Senior Domain Expert you will also help in designing and organizing workshops for teachers and students to communicate the use of the MANAV platform. You will also be an important coordinator for events like BIOTHONS which will involve mass engagement with students working on the Manav platform. In doing so you will work closely with DOMAIN ANALYSTS and the administrative team. You will also be in charge of developing and helping implement the rewards program that will support the Manav initiative. This will be done in close consultation with the Senior Domain Expert.

Tenure of the appointment
Initially for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.

Consolidated emoluments : Rs. 75,000 /- per month

Job requirement
You will work closely with domain experts under the supervision of senior domain experts to write scripts / programs for implementing machine learning methods such as literature mining, ranking of performance of teams, categorizing scientific articles into groups etc. Additionally, you will be involved in testing Manav platform from Machine learning perspective.

Tenure of the appointment
Initially for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.

2. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in Funding Agency or in IISER Pune.
3. The appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
4. The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions.
5. Relaxation in requirement of qualification and/or experience may be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious applicants with the prior approval of the competent authority.
6. Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification and experience may be considered with the prior approval of the competent authority for candidates having qualification and experience higher than the advertised.
7. The prescribed educational qualifications & experience are the bare minimum and mere possession of same does not entitle candidates to be considered in the selection process. Where number of applications received in response to this advertisement is large, it may not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendations of the Screening Committee, the Project Investigator may restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field at the time of applying.
