Indian Institute Of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM) is dedicated to scientific research and science education of international standards. Established in 2008 by the Government of India, through the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), based on the recommendation of Scientific Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, IISER-TVM is an autonomous institution awarding five year integrated MS degree in addition to Ph.D degrees in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and inter-disciplinary areas. The emphasis will be to develop a spirit of research cutting across disciplines from the beginning itself.

Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency)
Master's degree preferably in Biotechnology or any area of Biological Sciences with minimum of 60% marks. Candidates qualified CSIR-UGC NET-JRF/LS, or GATE (with a valid score) will be preferred.
Preference
Applicant having prior experience in molecular biology, plant biology techniques and bioinformatic analysis will be preferred. Selected Candidate should commit to work in lab for minimum duration of one year from date of joining. Selected candidates are wished likely to join by first week of July.
Fellowship amount : 31,000 + 8% HRA
Tenure of the post : 1 year with possible extension of two more years based upon performance.
Age : 32 years with 3-5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically disabled as per government norms
