JOB DESCRIPTION:

Following are the some of the key duties and responsibilities for this position
Follow all the safety policies and guidelines provided in extremely professional manner
Understand the needs of the researchers in terms of characterization of newly synthesized molecules
Develop analytical methods for characterization of these molecules on various instrument such as HPLC, GC and GPC
Provide qualitative and quantitative data in timely manner
Write SOP for the instruments such as HPLC, Mass Spec and GC
Troubleshoot the problems and provide timely solutions
Calibrate and maintain the instrument as per the vendor specifications to minimize the down time of the instruments
Develop a thorough understanding of the techniques such as HPLC, MS, GPC and GC and apply it to solve the real life problems
Present the work accomplished in the form of power point to the management
Identify the future needs of the techniques and add the new techniques as required
Keep up to date with the current progress in the analytical field and update the protocols as required
Work in collaboration with analytical scientist from other location if required.
