Job Description:
• Managing Product Supply through Contract Manufacturing and In-licensing of Pharmaceuticals.
• Leveraging and enhancing strategic partnering with a value based culture.
• Identify and Develop new Contract Manufacturers to meet business need and regulatory compliance.
• Lead execution and delivery process.
Position responsibilities:
Strategic
• Developing new sites to meet Future business demands, Regulatory and Quality Compliance.
• Establish minimum acceptance criteria (MAC) for Contract Manufacturers to ensure compliance at all times.
• Improve performance evaluation matrix of Contract Manufacturers to ensure compliance and timely supplies. Periodically consolidate operations to contain and manage spends.
• Keeps abreast of current and future trends, policies, technology impacting contract manufacturing operations.
• Anticipate and mitigate supply risks to business in the outsourcing space.
Operational
• Manage the operational deliverables of Contract Manufacturers, ensure product supply as per norms, maintaining desired Customer Service Level’s within budgeted spend.
• Organise, participate in Techno / Commercial / Governance audits (MSQA, EHS, MAPP, Financial, etc.) and ensure compliance to the recommendations and findings.
• Ensure documentation, data and standards for products / sites are compliant with Regulatory standards.
• Plan and lead product transfer / technology transfer exercise and ensure continuity of supplies.
• Monitor monopolistic supply situations and initiate risk mitigation plans to de-risk operations and contribute in formulating a robust Business Continuity Plan.
• Identify and develop new vendors for specific technical, commercial needs.
• Develop / upgrade existing vendors – facility, capability, technology to meet product specific needs or general compliance to cGMP / EHS, Regulatory requirements.
• Support Cost improvement projects.
People
• Plan and access by organising general and specific trainings in areas of advancement in technologies, manufacturing standards, regulatory compliance and legal expectations and implications, audit expectations and follow-up actions for closure of action items, findings and gaps.
• Manage and motivate by co-ordinating with internal and external stakeholders, namely, contract manufacturing team, colleagues from Supply chain, Manufacturing Plants, Quality, Finance, Legal, Regulatory and Business Units to create an environment of inclusion, mutual trust, commitment and agility in action.
• Coach and mentor fellow team members on specific issues / overall development of function / individual. Provide assistance through experts within the organisation / industry as required.
Organizational relationships:
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and manage healthy relationships with Contract Manufacturers and internal customers by proactive involvement, participation and constructive feedbacks.
• Interact with people across all hierarchies within organisation (viz:- Entire Pfizer Global Supplies (PGS), functions from Finance, Business Unit Leads, Regulatory and Legal) and large number of Contract Manufacturing sites.

• Must possess indepth knowledge of manufacturing and quality operations
• Demonstrated flair and diplomacy in vendor / customer interactions
Special Skills & Knowledge:
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical process equipments
• Trouble shoot techno-commercial aspects
• Ability to work in teams / matrix set up.
• Exposure to Brown / Green field pharmaceutical projects
• Proficient in computer systems and applications
