Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, Punjab, an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013, the date on which its first Director was appointed.

Institute of Nano Science and Technology invites highly motivated and bright candidates having doctoral degree for Walk-in-Interview for the engagement as Postdoctoral Research Associate in a trilateral international project funded by AISTIC.
Title of the Research Project : “Pragmatic strategies for the delivery of phytodrugs across BBB through plant derived exosomes for the management of neuroinflammatory diseases” Principal Investigator: Dr. Manish Singh, Scientist-D

Qualifications : Essential : Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Neuroscience/Nanobiotechnology and Pharmacology or equivalent.
Desirable : Experience mammalian cell culture, toxicological assessments, molecular techniques (PCR, Western Blotting, immunoassays), and neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's) preferred. Knowledge of animal handling, and neurobehavioral techniques like Open field and Morris water maze also preferred.
Age limit : Must not be over 35 years as on 18th March, 2025 which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of India.
Salary : Rs 47,000 + 8% HRA (pm).
Duration : Inititally for 6 months and may be extended upto 1 year based on the performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
General Terms and Conditions :
1. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials, Thesis summary/project report and a detailed CV must be presented at the time of interview.
