Interview for Life Sciences candidates at IVRI

Post : Senior Research Fellow (One position)

Name of the place of work : ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bengaluru-560024 (Karnataka)

Mode : Purely on Contract

Duration : Period of contract is one year and extendable up to Jan 2028 or till termination of the project whichever is earlier.

Qualification : Master degree in relevant subject (Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/Life science) with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelor's Degree. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No. Edn./6/27/20l4/HRD dated l3the July, 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated 30th January, 2019.

Age : 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of advertisement (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC & PH as per rules)

Emoluments : Rs.37,000/- per month + HRA for 1st and 2nd year & Rs.42,000 per month + HRA for 3rd Year

Terms and conditions
1. Above position is purely temporary & time bound and may be terminated by the Competent Authority without assigning any reason.
2. Registration will begin at 10.00am and closes at 10.30am on 26/03/2025.
3. Candidates should bring detailed bio-data affixing a recent passport size photograph.
4. Place of work will be at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bengaluru.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
6. The Director's decision will be final and binding in all respects.
7. Only Indian citizens are eligible for appearing in the walk-in-interview.

8. The upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per GoI guidelines.
9. Period of contract is one year and extendable based on performance and project duration.
10. The SRF position is purely on temporary basis. The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular appointment or absorption at ICAR-IVRI at any point of time.
11. Only the candidates having essential qualification will only be considered for interview.
12. Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility like age, qualification etc. before appearing for the interview.
13. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to cancellation of candidature or termination.
14. Person already in employment should submit "No Objection Certificate" from their present employer.
15. The selected candidates will be stationed at IVRI, Bengaluru and may have to conduct field work involving frequent travel, laboratory works and survey as and when required.

16. Selected candidates will be required to produce all original documents at the time of joining for verification purpose.
17. The selected candidate will be required to produce medical fitness certificate at the time of joining.
18. The Director reserves the rights to cancel/postpone the interview without assigning any reason thereof.
19. The decision of the Director, ICAR-IVRI, will be final and binding on all aspects.
20. The Director shall also reserve the right to terminate the contract of job as mentioned above, even before the completion of one year for which no appeal thereof shall be made.
