Post : Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-medical)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up post of ‘Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical)’ on-contract basis for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project entitled ‘‘Optimal versus standard cerebral perfusion pressure targets for the management of severe traumatic brain injury- A randomised controlled clinical trial (OPT-STAND- CPP trial)” – under Dr. Suparna Bharadwaj, Additional Professor of Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical care and Principal Investigator, NIMHANS.
Educational Qualifications and Experience : (i) Masters in Neurosciences, Masters in life sciences (Nursing/ Anaesthesia technology/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology or related fields) with a preferable one years’ working experience in clinical research at a reputed Institution.
(ii) The applicant should be conversant in writing and speaking English, Kannada, and Hindi language.
(iii) This post can be converted to PhD if the candidate qualifies in NIMHANS PhD entrance (for Anesthesia)
Desirable : (i) Candidate who has cleared NET/GATE and previously has experience working in the operation theatre/Intensive care Unit
(ii) Candidate who has interest to pursue PhD under department of Neuroanesthesia and Neurocritical care
Key responsibility : Assistance in conducting clinical research. Responsible for patient recruitment, consent, follow-up assessments, collecting and maintaining study related data, data entry and analysis. Other related tasks as assigned by the PI/Co-PI.
Age limit : 35 years
Emoluments : Rs. 56,000/- PM + HRA 27% Duration of the project 3 years
Tenure of appointment : Initial appointment will be for 6 months; extendable upon satisfactory performance of the candidate.
