Online applications are invited for the posts of Lecturer in Diploma Pharmacy in the Government Diploma Pharmacy Colleges in the Gujarat Educational Service, Class-II(Collegiate Branch), under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Special Recruitment Drive for Divyangs during Date:28/02/2025, 13:00 p.m. to Date: 15/03/2025, 23:59 p.m.
Post : Lecturer in Diploma Pharmacy, GES, Class-II
Educational Qualification :
• possess a post-graduate degree with first class in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy, as may be specified by the Government, the educational qualification shall have been obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India, or any other educational institution recognized as such or deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government;
• Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;
• Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
Pay Scale : Rs.57,700-1,82,400 (Level-10)
Age : Not be more than 35 years. Age will be calculated on the last date of the receiving of application.
Exam Pattern : Candidates will be selected for appointment to these posts by conducting a Preliminary test and interview. Candidates will be declared eligible for the interview after scrutinizing the required applications as per the Preliminary test marks. If the candidate gets less than 15% marks in the Preliminary test, he/she will not be considered eligible for interview. The medium of this test will be decided by the Commission. The Preliminary test will usually be held at Gandhinagar/ Ahmedabad and candidates will have to be present at their own expense. The Preliminary test will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks(60 minutes) of General Studies and 200 questions of 200 marks(120 minutes) of the Respective Subject.Total 300 questions of 300 marks.
As per the Instruction/Provision of the Commission, the candidates of each category are being called for interview as per following norms

(3) Candidates shall be required to remain present at each stage of Recruitment process, otherwise his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
(4) Certificates of SC/ ST/ SEBC and NCLC/EWS category should be issued by the last date of uploading of certificates when the first list of the application scrutiny is released after the preliminary examination in case of direct recruitment examination and by the last date of uploading of application forms and certificates for the main examination in case of competitive examination.
Application Fees :
Persons with Disability have not to pay application fees.
• Experience will be counted from the date of obtaining the prescribed educational qualification. As per Commission's office order dated 23/05/2023, it is mandatory for the candidates other than government employees/officers to submit experience certificate in the prescribed format (Format of Experience Certificate for an organization other than Government Organizations) Which is available on commission’s website : gpsc.gujarat.gov.in/Downloads.
• Age and Experience will be calculated as on the last date of Application.
• The candidates should produce formula / method of calculation of percentage where percentage of marks is not mentioned in the marksheets by the University.
• The candidates having qualification from foreign University should produce necessary documents / proof regarding the recognition/equivalence of their degree.
• Subject to number of Candidates registered in the Advertisement, the Candidates will have to fill the "Consent Form" to appear in the Preliminary Test and have to pay the prescribed fees as "Deposit" as decided by the Commission. Candidates who appear in the examination after paying the prescribed fee along with the consent form will be refunded this fee. This fee will be charged as a deposit only.
Unreserved(General) category : 500/- Rs.
Reserved category means women candidates of all categories, socially and educationally backward classes, scheduled castes, scheduled Tribes, economically weaker sections, Physically disabled candidates and ex- servicemen. : 400/- Rs.
Citizenship:-
The candidate,
(a) a citizen of India or
(b) a national of Nepal or
(c) a national of Bhutan or
(d) a Tibetan exile who came to India before the 1st day of January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(f) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, East Pakistan (Bangladesh), Burma (Myanmar), Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, East African countries like United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. However, in the case of candidates falling under sub-items (b), (c), (d), and (f), the Government must have issued an eligibility certificate.
Note:- The Commission will consider the application of the candidate in whose case an eligibility certificate is required and if his name is recommended for appointment, the State Government will grant him provisional appointment on condition of providing eligibility certificate.
Application Form:-
(1) If you want to apply for more than one advertisement, you have to apply separately for each advertisement and pay the fee with each application.
(2) Non-reserved category candidates, if they pay the fee at the post office, then they will have to pay a fee of Rs. 100 + postal charges and if they pay the fee online, then Rs. 100 + service charges. Reserved category candidates (only economically weaker sections of Gujarat origin, socially and educationally backward classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) and physically challenged candidates and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fee. Therefore, they do not have to pay any fee. Where the advertisement contains the main examination stage in terms of examination rules, separate instructions will be given regarding the fee for the main examination.
(3) Where reserved seats are not mentioned in the advertisement for reserved category candidates, such candidates can apply for unreserved seats and non-reserved norms will be applicable for selection.
(4) Even if the advertisement does not reserve seats for women candidates, women candidates can apply in that category.
(5) When some seats are reserved for women candidates out of the total seats in that category in the advertisement, the remaining seats other than the seats reserved for women candidates shall not be considered as reserved only for male candidates. Both male and female candidates may be considered for selection on these seats. Both male and female candidates may apply. (For example, out of the total 10 seats, 03 seats are reserved for women candidates, but against the remaining 07 seats, a female candidate may also be selected.)
(6) Even if the advertisement reserves seats only for women candidates, a male candidate may apply in that category. Since if a female candidate is not available, male candidates may be considered for selection on these seats. But the seats which are reserved for women candidates only and women candidates are completely selected/selected in the required number, they will be considered first and if no woman candidate is selected or fewer women candidates are selected, male candidates will be considered in the same proportion. (E.g. Total 10 seats are reserved for female candidates and if 08 female candidates are selected then 02 male candidates can be selected.)
(7) Candidates who are eligible for application verification based on the results of the preliminary test, will have to scan the necessary certificates/documents and upload them online on the website of the Commission https://gpsc-lass.gujarat.gov.in when notified by the Commission.
