Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) under Ministry of Ayush is an apex body for conducting research in Siddha system of medicine and provides health care facilities through its 8 peripheral institutes / units and 5 co-located units of CCRS. The Council is engaged in multifaceted research activities. In the area of clinical research, pre-clinical Pharmacological / Toxicological studies, Open label trials, multi-centric Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) are being conducted for acute and chronic diseases. The main emphasis is on diseases of national health priority with a view to develop safe and effective Siddha treatments.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (Pharmaceutical Sciences)
Name of the IMR project : “Formulation and Optimization of Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT’s), Single and Bilayer tablet formulations to be developed in classical Siddha formulation to enhance patient Compliance”
Number of post : One
Essential qualification : M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Sciences) from a recognized University with two years of research experience in ASU Drug development and Standardization including instrumentation handling such as Dissolution apparatus, FT-IR, UV-vis etc.
Desirable :
(i) Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualifications or who have previous research experience in ASU &H drugs preparation, dosage changes and their standardization
(ii) Having worked for any research project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent organization.
(iii) Publications in peer reviewed/science citation index journal.
(iv) Skills of drafting editing of scientific documents / articles/ technical reports etc.
(v) Working knowledge of computer applications.
Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per GOI rules.
Pay : Rs. 35,000/- p.m. + 24 % HRA
Duration : Three years.
General Terms and Conditions :
1. The above position is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. There is no provision for re-employment after termination of project. The selected candidate will not have any right for claiming pay scale or absorption against any regular post being vacant on a later date at this institute/council.
2. Candidates attending the interview should bring their original educational qualification, experience certificates and publications, two passport Size Photos and any Identity Proof (such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, Pan) etc. Candidates already working should produce “No Objection Certificate” in case he/she is employed elsewhere.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
