National Forensic Sciences University, the erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is the brain child of Govt of Gujarat. It was established by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modiji, then Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2009 with a sole objective of creating professional experts in the field of Forensic sciences. At a juncture of spiking number of crimes involving sophisticated technologies and much evolved modus operandi, there was a need for scientists and technocrats. Thereby the resolution of such heinous crimes were more diligently possible. This has been prudently considered by the Govt of Gujarat and the university came into existence as a unique and first of its kind academic institution dedicated to Forensic Sciences across the globe.
Post : Project Associate - I
Applications are invited for contractual engagement for the post of Project Associate - I in SERB- CRG funded project (CRG/2021/003631 dated: 09th Dec 2021) under the mentorship of Dr. Deepak Rawtani (Associate Professor) and Dr. Prajesh Prajapati (Assistant Professor) at School of Pharmacy, NFSU (purely contractual/temporary basis).
Project Title : "Apremilast loaded halloysite nanotubcs composite encapsulated in electro spun nano patches: A novel treatment for psoriasis"
Monthly Remuneration
1) Rs. 31,000+ 16% HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
2) Rs. 25,000+ 16% HRA for other who do not fall under (i) above.
Engagement period : Initially one year, which may be extended for another one years as per project requirement.
Eligibility :
• First class with not less than 60% aggregate marks (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc / M.Tech. Nanotechnology / Biotechnology / life Sciences
• Candidates who have qualified CSIR/UGC-NET and/or having first class degree will be given priority
Desirable : Experience in Drug delivery, Animal experimentation & Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Handling.
Age limit : 50 years as on the last date for application submission.
