Tuberculosis (TB) control activities are implemented in the country for more than 50 years. The National TB Programme (NTP) was launched by the Government of India in 1962 in the form of District TB Centre model involved with BCG vaccination and TB treatment. In 1978, BCG vaccination was shifted under the Expanded Programme on Immunisation. A joint review of NTP was done by Government of India, World Health Organization (WHO) and the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) in 1992 and some shortcomings were found in the programme such as managerial weaknesses, inadequate funding, over-reliance on x-ray, non-standard treatment regimens, low rates of treatment completion, and lack of systematic information on treatment outcomes.

Candidates who possess the educational qualifications and qualifications mentioned before the respective posts as well as fulfill the other conditions should submit the application in the prescribed form along with the original copy of the required certificates.

Age of the applicant / candidate will be taken into account on the day of direct interview (Walk in Selection).
Notice
1. The required officers and employees mentioned in the advertisement will be appointed through Walk in Selection.
2 .The list of selected candidates and candidates in the waiting list will be published on the interview site as well as on the website of the Corporation on the same day if possible.
3. The validity of waiting list will be 1 year. In case of vacancies in the next one year due to non-application of selected candidates or leaving of the registered candidates, these posts will be filled from the candidates in the waiting list.
4. Candidates coming by train can get off at Bhayander (W) railway station and reach the interview place by rickshaw or bus.
Candidate Selection Procedure :
Applicants should bring original certificates at the time of interview. Also attach attested photocopy of original certificate in the following order with the application. A) School leaving certificate. B) Certificates of Educational Qualification, Certificates of Technical Qualification c) Certificate of Experience. D) Domicile Certificate (Residence in Maharashtra). E) Caste Certificate / Caste Validity Certificate e) Non Criminal Certificate f) Bicycle Vehicle License as per requirement g) Candidates will be disqualified for interview if required documents are not fulfilled. Knowledge of Marathi language is required for posts.
5. There will be no travel expenses for 3 oral interviews.

7.
