Planning
• Batch planning for manufacturing and packing
• Planning for PV and media fill
• CAPA execution planning
• Manpower resource planning for 3 shifts
• Evolve operational plans & feasibility studies in coordination with block heads
• Evolve operational goals for the line
• Evolve budget for the Line
Execution
• cascade operational goals for three shifts
• coordinate with cross functional teams to remove road blocks during operations
• implement process changes based on CAPA's
• coordinate with engineering for PMP's / Calibrations
• coordinate with validations and ensure that the line in validated and ready for operations
• act as a designee for the block head in his absence
• To make sure the operations related training to get imparted to the Execution team
Delivery
• to meet the production Schedule adherence
• prepare MIS reports pertaining to the line (such as production metrics, planned Vs actual yield, changeover time, hourly output/downtime in packing, lyophilizer data, etc )
Audit Readiness
• line readiness for the audits
• represent the line during the audit
Compliance
• ensure cGMP and GDP in day to day operations
• supporting of ER's / investigations closing
• Review BMR, BPR, validation protocols, performance verification records, CCF, RCF, SOP's , BOMQ, packing specifications and recommend corrections and up gradations if any
Process/ Personnel Capability enhancement
• To participate in talent management framework for the line employees in coordination with HR
• instill team work and make the team work towards the established goal
• propose training needs for the team
• identify and develop successors
• administer progressive counselling as and when required
Candidate Profile
Bachelors in Science, engineering, tech or pharma ; 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with 4 years staff management experience with a good understanding of the regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in manufacturing of parenteral with good knowledge on cGMP / GDP
