Industrial Research and Consultancy Centre, IIT Bombay is looking for a talented and motivated Executives to help in enhancing intellectual property rights (IPR) management activities and related technical activities in research administration. In this regard, we are seeking committed manpower to help in IP protection / licensing activities and other research administration as per needs. Details of the post are given below:
Post: Executive (IP Licensing) (01 Post)
Job profile: Enhancing intellectual property (IP) management including IP protection and licensing activities. The job includes facilitating and providing support for IP protection and deployment of IP through identifying industries/ communicating with them for licensing. The candidate is expected to have a good understanding of IP administration / management/ technology transfer and its complexities in an academic institution, knowledge of licensing agreements, computer skills, the ability to take challenges and demonstrated capacity to communicate at all levels.
Minimum essential qualifications:
One year relevant work experience with academic qualifications of
i) Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology/equivalent/other technical discipline or
ii) a Masters degree in a Science / equivalent / other technical discipline.
Duration: One year with possibilities of renewal, subject to performance .
Salary Range: Rs. 30,000 to Rs.42,000 per month consolidated plus out of campus allowance as applicable, based on qualifications and experience.
