Job Description
- Dispensing of medications with clear instructions and correct labelling to patients.
- Monitors pre-packaging and labelling of medications in unit dose quantities for patients
- Responds to queries regarding drug availability, dosage, indications and compatibility
- Taking care of credit patient bills
- Monitoring drug therapies for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Maintaining records and prepares reports on all narcotics and alcohol dispensed.
- Maintaining supplies and oversees security of drugs kept at nursing stations and night emergency cabinets.
