Career for Pharmacist at National AIDS Research Institute

ICMR-NARI is located at Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. Since its inception the Institute has ably supported the National AIDS Control Programme, especially in the areas of surveillance, capacity building, laboratory services and drug resistance studies. ICMR-NARI derives strength from wide ranging National and International Collaborations.

Online applications are invited up to 28.06.2020 for the following posts under,“A Phase III, Randomized, Double-blind, Three arm Placebo controlled Trial to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of two vaccines VPM1002 and Immuvac (Mw) in Preventing Tuberculosis (TB) in Healthy Household Contacts of Newly Diagnosed Sputum Positive Pulmonary TB Patients”. These posts are purely temporary and will be initially appointed till 31st July 2020 and likely to be extended over the period of 1 year.

Essential Qualification :
B. Pharm (Pharmacy) from a recognized university with 3 years work experience from a recognized Institute

Desirable Qualification :
M. Pharm (Pharmacy) from a recognized university with Two years work experience in clinical trials or 5 year experience in clinical trial after essential qualification

Consolidated Salary : Rs.31,000/- pm

Job responsibilities :
• Maintenance of trial pharmacy
• Randomization of participant for trial
• Study documentation and data entry
• Other assigned tasks by the study investigators

Selected candidate should be willing to join at ICMR-NARI within 5 working days as this is a very important project with short duration. Headquarters and workplace is ICMR-NARI, Pune. There may be some travel required parting to study if permitted.
