AIIMS Rishikesh is one of the SIX Apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training, the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS institutions in under served areas of the country.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project funded by UCOST.

Essential qualifications: M.Sc. (Life Sciences) or M.Tech. (Bioengineering/Biomedicai Engineering) or equivalent degree with a minimum of 65% aggregate score (6.8 grade points on a scale of 10).
Desirable: Hands-on experience in Molecular Biology techniques Candidates with CSIR/UGC NET/GATE will be preferred.
Salary: Rs. 12,000/-per month (consolidated)
Duration: Upto 24 months depending on the funding availability and research progress
