Post: Technical Marketing Manager

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
END-USER MARKETING
• Develop and maintain end-user relations.
• Drive end-user projects and Support end-user packaging development with product recommendations and technical support.
• Enhance UPM Raflatac end-user visibility by initiating projects/trials on UPM Raflatac products. Incorporation of UPM Raflatac products in end-user specifications.
• Coordination with Sales team and converters to ensure project viability and commercialization.
• Coordination with other global marketing teams on latest developments with global brands.

CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
• Customer projects to maximize end-user approvals and increase share of business with customers.
• Customer product presentations/training.
• Provide product and technical support.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
• Gather Competitive information regarding industry trends, competition products and industry/competition plans to meet changing competitive market conditions.
• Propose target prices and estimated volumes.
• Prepare product development plans in line with market needs/trends, internal inventory/capability, infrastructure & competition products.

Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field, ideally in product/brand marketing within a recognized FMCG or pharmaceutical company.
• Degree in Business or Marketing is desirable.
• Certificate in packaging / printing would be an added advantage.
• Language skills – excellent local and good English language skills, oral and written.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Pro-activeness is one of the most important credential for this positio
n.
