PGIMER looking for Research Scientist, Technical Support post - Pharmacology & Biotech candidates can apply

Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the following posts on purely temporary basis for the Extramural Research Project funded by ICMR, New Delhi entitled “Assessing Phenytoin and Lcvetiracetam Efficacy, Cost-Effectiveness, and CYP2C9/SV2A Polymorphism in Early Post-Traumatic Seizures: A Multicentric Prospective Randomized Trial”. File No, EM/Dev/IG/15/1210/2023(e-officc-179176) under ICMR under Principal Investigator Dr. Apmderpreet Singh, Department of Neurosurgery, PGIMER, Chandigarh as per the details given below.

Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical)
Number of Post : 01
Essential Qualification : First class Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degree (MSc - Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacology and other allied subjects).
Second class Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG degree with PhD (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmacology and other allied subjects)
Minimum 1-Year experience in Biomedical research projects / Clinical trials
Desirable : Knowledge of computer applications (Previous experience of working in molecular/genomic or related laboratory. Proficiency in Hindi and English language (Both reading and writing). Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Statistical software.
Age Limit : 35 years (as on the last date of application). Age relaxation as per Gol norms.
Job Profile : Estimation of drug levels of Phenytoin and Lcvetiracetam using HPLC, Genetic analysis CYP2C9/SV2A Polymorphism, and filing CRF forms along with real-time digital data transfer.
Investigator will work under the Principal Investigator for carrying out the task related to the project and should be able to conduct review of literature, carry out data collection, statistical analysis, report writing etc Coordinating with other centers for patient’s recruitment, drug dispensing and other project related work.
Job duration : Initially for 6 months and likely to be extended if performance is satisfactory
Place of work : PGIMER Chandigarh (as per requirement)
Monthly salary : Rs. 56000 per month + HRA [56,000 +10080 (18% HRA) = 66,080]

Project Technical Support -II
Number of Post : 01
Essential Qualification : 12th Science^ Diploma (MLT/DMLT/D-Pharma/B-Pharma/ITI)
Desirable : Five years experience in relevant subject field Drug preparations and dilutions. Knowledge of computer applications.
Age Limit : 30 years (as on the last date of application) Age relaxation as per Gol norms.
Job Profile : Investigator will work under the Principal Investigator for carrying out the task related to the project.
Collecting project related biochemical, radiological reports. Typing of research reports and preparing excel sheet for data management. Digital transfer of CRF data, laboratory data, etc. Preparation of prefilled syringes/ tablets as per the guidance of investigator.
Job duration : Initially for 6 months and likely to be extended if performance is
satisfactory
Place of work : PGIMER Chandigarh (as per requirement)
Monthly salary : Rs.23,600/- per month [20,000 +HRA @18% (3600)]

1. All salaries & experiences will be as per ICMR guidelines.
2. As this is multi-institutional project, The Salary will be paid by AIIMS, Jodhpur Rajasthan.
3. The above posts are filled-up on purely on temporary basis, co-terminus with the project & the candidate will have no right to claim for permanent Employment under Govt, of India/PGIMER or continuation of his/her services in any other project.

5. All educational professional and technical qualification should be from a recognized Board/ University and full-time.
6. The experience requirement specified should be experience acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualifications required for the post.

9. The salary is a consolidated sum without any other benefits and it is based on experience, qualifications, skill set, etc. of the candidates.
