The Andaman & Nicobar Islands is a union territory of India. This territory is known as A & N Islands, or ANI. It is located in the Indian Ocean, in the southern reaches of the Bay of Bengal, nearer to Indonesia and Thailand. This comprises of two island groups - the Andaman Islands and the Nicobar Islands - which separates the Andaman Sea to the east from the Indian Ocean. These two groups are separated by the 10° N parallel, the Andamans lying to the north of this latitude, and the Nicobars to the south. The capital of this territory is the Andamanese town of Port Blair.There are 836 Islands/Islets/Rocky Outcrops in the territory, of which only some 38 are permanently inhabited.

Pharmacist (Ayurveda) - Two (02)
Consolidated pay of : Rs. 18,000/- p.m
Essential : i. XIIth Std. (Senior School Certificate Examination) with Science subjects from a recognized Boards/Institution.
ii. Degree / Diploma in Homoeopathic Pharmacy or its equivalent with the essential subjects like Homoeopathic Pharmacy, Homeopathic Materia Medics and Organon of Medicine from a recognized University/ Institution. OR Certificate Course in Homoeopathic Pharmacy from a recognized institution with a minimum of 03 to 05 years experiences of dispensing Homoeo Medicine in a recognized Hospital or Dispensary. Desirable: Experience in dispensing Homoeo Medicine Age Criteria: Not above 35 years. Relaxable as per norms of A&N Administration.

Pharmacist (Homoeo)- One (01)
Consolidated pay of : Rs. 18,000/- p.m
Essential : i. Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy of Ayurveda Medicine from a recognized University/ Institution.
Desirable : i. Two years-experience as Pharmacist (Ayurveda) in a recognized Teaching Institution/Manufacturing unit/ or Govt Hospital.
Age Criteria : Not above 35 years. Relaxable as per norms of A&N Administration.
Closing Date of Submission of Applications : 15.07.2024 (by 05.00 PM)
Date of Skill Tests & Interview : Interview will be held on 17th July, 2024 at 11.00 AM onwards in the Chamber of MD (NAM), Secretariat.

General Information
i. The appointments shall be made purely on merit basis.
ii. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility, has to apply in the prescribed format in A4 size paper.
iii. While applying for the post, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other norms and that the particulars furnished by him/ her are correct in all respects and suppression of any fact would lead to disqualification from the recruitment process at any stage.
iv. Interested candidates shall be ready to work in remote / hard areas as and when directed and also may have to travel to remote/hard areas as required.
v. Incomplete/defective applications, applications without photograph of the candidates shall be summarily rejected.
vi. The engagement will be as per the guidelines of A&N State AYUSH Society (National Ayush Mission) on Contract basis for period of 11 months from the day selected candidate signs the contract within the stipulated period as per the offer of appointment letter. Selected Candidates are liable to serve anywhere in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Any extension or renewal of the appointment beyond 11 months, if any, will be subject to the Scheme Guidelines of NAM issued by GoI from time to time, review on the performance & contribution in your work and an agreement on terms that must be mutually agreed upon. However, this would not be construed in any manner a promise for the regular appointment under A&N State AYUSH Society /A&N Administration. vii. No individual call letters will be issued for appearing in the interview.
viii. No TA/DA shall be payable for appearing in the interview.
