Job Description:
Responsible for
• Ensuring Product Supply through Contract Manufacturing as per DRP, Pfizer quality and EHS guidelines.
• Production, Scheduling and Material Management for all Contract Manufactured products
• Assist in Technology transfers
• Monthly Closing activities
• Rejections and Maintenance of optimum stocks at CM sites,
• Finished Goods yields and Usage variance
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure availability of all product SKU’s to meet 100% Customer Service Levels at the close of every accounting period ensuring weekly supplies as scheduled with Contract Manufacturers
• Assist in scouting, evaluation of new and existing manufacturing sites to suit manufacturing and supply needs as per Pfizer requirements.
• Assist in preparing of the manufacturing budget – no. of lots by product SKU’s.
• Assist in preparation of Monthly Production schedules for each site.
• Assist in preparing of Batch Plan
• Confirm DRP Indents, based on the capacity allocation and manufacturing lead times.
• Obtain weekly delivery schedules from Contract Manufacturers and highlight issues affecting production / supplies such as material availability, testing, break-downs, etc.
• Communicate Price changes to all CM locations and inform the effective lot number to Pricing
• Assist in co-ordinating Codeine phosphate documentation at CM locations
• Conduct periodic visits and inspections at contract manufacturing sites to ascertain that all activities are carried out as per Pfizer guidelines.
• Completion of monthly closing activities with respect to cut-off lot nos. delivered, work in progress, inventory positing.
• Conduct monthly / quarterly checks on controls and Improvements over Finished goods yield for Loan License products.
• Monitor Customer Service Levels (CSL’s) and investigate reasons for low outputs.
• Co-ordinating CM locations Rejection advices and preparing Rejection Reports / Inventory Adjustment Reports.
• Handle Raw and Packaging material rejections (approval / advises / avoidance / accounting)
• Implement price and artwork changes with minimum write-offs,
• Assist in preparation and control of manifest for disposal of hazardous waste.
• Analyse data for optimum material wastage and crosscheck physical stock
• Assist in monitoring non / slow moving raw and packaging materials and help take decision on near expiry raw / active materials.
• Ensure proper maintenance of stock levels for Third Party products
• Complete Institutional supply orders as required.
• Impart training on material accounting & CENVAT procedures to new CM locations
• Provide support to TIMS software.
• Manual reconciliation of SRRs with TIMS SRR for all CM locations
• Generate monthly Finished goods report and reconcile with HUB warehouse and submission to Plant Accounts
• Assist in preparation of CB – 15 inventory reports for Pharma & PAH every quarter after Country Manager’s approval transmit to New York.
• Support automation of processes to reduce costs and enhance effectiveness
• Implement Pfizer stock management systems for electronic transfer of data
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
• Assist in managing healthy customer relationships with Contract Manufacturers and internal customers by active involvement, participation and feedbacks.
• Position involves interactions with people across all hierarchies within organisation (viz: - Entire Pfizer Global Supplies (PGS), functions from Finance, Business Unit Leads, Regulatory and Legal) and large number of Contract Manufacturing sites.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualification / Experience:
Qualification
• Degree in Sciences or Pharmacy
• Diploma in Materials Management (preferred)
• 8 – 10 years experience in the pharmaceutical / chemical industry of which 2 – 3 years in a similar capacity.
