The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) although registered in April, 2001, under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, the regular activity of the Institute could be started only with the appointment of its first Director on 18th January, 2003 to achieve the following mission, goal and objectives.
Post : Project Associate-I (01)
Title of the project and name of funding Agency : Production of Quality planting material, cultivation and market linkages of four commercially important plants of Himalaya region (Aconitum heterophyllum, Gaultheria fragrantissima, Nardostachys jatamansi & Swertia chirayita)
Funded by : DBT
Duration of the project : 03 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA applicable if selected through National Tests – CSIR-UGC, NET or GATE. Otherwise it shall be Rs. 25,000/- + 8% HRA.
Qualification : M.Sc. Agriculture / Horticulture or Basic Science like Life Science / Medicinal plants / Botany / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or M.Pharm.
1. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
3. The upper age limit for Project Associate-I will be 35 years and for Field Worker will be 50 years (relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms).
