Life Sciences recruitment as Research Officer at NHSRC | Salary Rs. 50,000 pm

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system. The NHSRC is also mandated to contribute towards National strategic health planning and programme design. Work at the NHSRC is organised around seven divisions, namely – Community Processes and Comprehensive Primary Care (CP-CPHC), Quality Improvement, Public Health Planning, Public Health Administration, Healthcare Financing & Healthcare Technology and Human Resources for Health. NHSRC intends recruiting Consultant – Drugs and Logistics purely on short-term basis.

Post : Research Officer (Life Science)

Roles & Responsibilities :
• Planning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments, recording and analysing data.
• Collecting, preparing and/or testing samples, maintaining, calibrating, cleaning and testing sterility of the equipment.
• Providing technical support, presenting results to senior staff, writing reports, reviews and summaries.
• Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments, supervising staff and carrying out risk assessments
• ordering and maintaining stock and resources

Qualification & Experience :
Graduate in Science/ relevant subjects (e.g General Science, Life Sciences, microbiology, virology, bioinformatics etc) from a recognized University with five years of experience from recognized Institutions. OR Master’s Degree in the relevant Subjects (e.g General Science, Life Sciences, Microbiology, virology, bioinformatics etc)
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years (as per DOPT guidelines)

Deliverables : Conducting and supporting scientific investigations and experiments at Lab
Remuneration : • Consolidated Rs. 50,000/ (Fifty thousand only)
• No other allowances are permissible except TA/DA on official tours as per Govt, rules.
Work Location : NCDC, Delhi
