National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO) is a National level organization set up under Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India located at 4th and 5th Floor of Institute of Pathology (ICMR) Building in Safdarjung Hospital New Delhi.
Applications are invited from candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the posts of Coordinator (Tissue Bank), Consultant (Coordination), Consultant (IEC, Publication and Media), Computer Programmer and Consultant (Research and Data Management) at NOTTO for a period of one year purely on contract basis which will be extended further, if need be, by the Competent Authority.
Coordinator (Tissue Bank)
Educational Qualification:-
A graduate in Health Sciences / Postgraduate in Social Sciences with experience and background of Social Sciences preferably with sufficient training in Tissue Banking. Persons with previous work experience of working in the Tissue Bank will be preferred.
Responsibilities/Job Description
The services of the tissue bank coordinators will be essentially required as their work starts from identifying the cases, persuasion, retrieval, storage, transportation and finally transplantation. They will be the crucial link between the availability of tissues till their transplantation. The interaction and coordination by the various units will be an important factor in this field.
Age : Upto 45 years.
Remuneration : Consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 40,000/- per month. The contractual appointee will be governed by the terms & conditions and relevant rules of Government of India. Income tax will be deducted at source on monthly basis.
Consultant (Coordination)
Educational Qualification:-
Medical Degree / Post Graduate in Biological Sciences / Medical Social Work having sufficient experience of dealing with the technicalities of Human Organ Transplant Act and its amendments. Qualifications and / or experience in Management would be preferred.
Responsibilities/Job Description
Consultant (Coordination) shall be responsible for procurement and allocation of organs and coordinate for the same with Regional and State Level Networks and hospitals carrying out Transplantations, Registered Centres for Tissues and Retrieval Centres.
Age : Upto 65 years for Medical and 60 years for Non-Medical Candidates
Remuneration : Consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 60,000/- per month for Medical Candidate and Rs. 50,000/- for Non-Medical Candidate. The contractual appointee will be governed by the terms & conditions and relevant rules of Government of India. Income tax will be deducted at source on monthly basis.
Consultant ( Research and Data Management)
Educational Qualification:-
Post Graduate in Medical / Public Health / Medical Statistics / Social Sciences with sufficient experience of Research and Data Management in a Government setup / PSU / Non-Government Organization / Hospital.
Responsibilities/Job Description
Consultant (Research & Data Management) would be responsible for
1. Various types of research work including clinical trials, basic and applied research in the registered transplant centres. Besides this, he will also undertake multi centre studies. The research studies so undertaken shall be published and disseminated among the public, scientist and government authorities.
2. Creation of a database relating to the institutions, transplantation done, follow-up and survival, complications, organ donors, cadaver organ retrieval and its analysis for record and research purposes
Age : Upto 63 years
Remuneration : Consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 60,000/- per month for Medical Candidate and Rs. 50,000/- for Non-Medical Candidate. The contractual appointee will be governed by the terms & conditions and relevant rules of Government of India. Income tax will be deducted at source on monthly basis.

Computer Programmer
Educational Qualification:-
B.Tech / BE / Post Graduate qualification in Computer Applications/ Computer Science /Information Technology. Three Years experience in design and development of web based applications and software for Management Information System. Should be able to host and manage the dynamic information on website/portals.
Desirable: Knowledge of PHP / JAVA / DOTNET / C# / Database (Oracle / MS/ Sql / Mysql / Postgreysql)

Post Graduate in Mass Communication/Journalism with sufficient experience of handling Mass media division in a Govt, set up/Public Sector Undertaking.
Responsibilities/Job Description
Consultant (IEC, Publication and Media) would assist the Director and other officers on all aspects of creating awareness about the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation amongst the general public. He/She will be responsible for developing and publishing IEC Material, publicity, advertisements for educating the general public through electronic, print media and by holding workshops/road shows. He/She will also be responsible for publishing report of IEC Activities and IEC Material etc.
Age : Upto 63 years
Remuneration : Consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 50,000/- per month. The contractual appointee will be governed by the terms & conditions and relevant rules of Government of India. Income tax will be deducted at source on monthly basis.
