The commissioner Bruhath Bangalore Mahanagara Palike reserves the right to increase or reduce the number of posts.

INSTRUCTIONS & CONDITIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. All the posts are reserved for SC/ST candidates only.
2. Applications should be sent through post or Courier only.
3. Age Limit: The age limit for the candidates shall not exceed the prescribed age limit as on the last date of submission of application.
Min -18 years , Max - 40 Years
Provided that in the cases of the following, the upper age limit shall be relaxed as follows:
a) in the case of a candidate who is or was holding a post under the Government or a local authority or [a corporation established by a State Act or a Central Act or established by the Government under a State Act or Central Act and owned or controlled by the Government] by the number of years during which he is or was holding such post or [ten] years whichever is less;
b) in the case of a candidate who is physically handicapped, by ten years;
c) in the case of a candidate who is a widow, by ten years;
4. The Candidates should have the knowledge of Kannada language.
5. The candidates must apply in the specified application form which the Commissioner, Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, office of the Assistant Commissioner ( Recruitment and Enquiry) Annex Building-2, 3rd floor, N.R.Square, Bangalore-560002. super scribing on the envelope as “Application for the Post of _____________________Scheduled caste/Scheduled Tribe Backlog Vacancy” (Name of post should be mentioned). Applications will not be provided to the candidates from BBMP.
6. Applications submitted after the due date will not be considered.
7. A Government servant applying for an appointment to any service or post shall submit his application through the authority competent to appoint him to the post which he holds at the time of making the application.
8. The candidate must attach the latest passport size photograph on the right side top corner of the application and signed on photograph
9. Canvassing or recommendation made for the selection of applicant will result in rejecting the application.
10. No Correspondence with the applicants will be entertained.
11. Applicants desirous of submitting applications for more than one post should submit separate applications mentioning name of the post separately along with necessary documents.
12. Appointment order will be issued only after obtaining Validation Certificate from the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district, who is the Chairman of Caste/ Income Investigating Committee).
13. The Commissioner, Bruhath Bangalore Mahanagara Palike reserves the right to appointment to the above posts.
14. While submitting the application, a Indian Postal Order for Rs.100/- obtained from a post office in favour of the Commissioner, Bruhath Bangalore Mahanagara Palike’, N.R.Square, Bangalore – 560002 must be enclosed. Name and address of the applicant should be indicated on the the PO. Application without PO will be rejected.
15. Unsigned applications will not be considered.
16. Selection of candidates will be based on merit only (marks obtained in the qualifying examination)
17. BBMP will not be responsible for any postal delay.
18. Candidates desirous of availing the benefit of reservation should obtain Certificate from the revenue authority not less than the rank of a Thasildar of the concerned jurisdiction.
Eligibility conditions:
a) must be a citizen of India.
b) candidate should satisfy the appointing authority that he is physically fit to discharge the duties that he may be called upon to perform. The opinion of the medical authority, regarding the physical fitness or otherwise of the candidate shall be binding on the candidate.
Along with the prescribed educational qualification, the applicants having the above eligibilities are eligible to apply for appointment.
The Candidates should have the basic computer knowledge and attach the computer knowledge certificate.
Other Instructions:
a) Applicants are instructed to keep the duplicate copy of the duly filled application for their information.
b) If the last date for receiving applications is declared as Government holiday, the day after that date shall be the last date for receiving the applications.
