For ICMR funded Project entitled "Clinically relevant Three-Dimensional Bioprinted Liver Construct and its efficacy evaluation in Procine Liver Disease Model" P.8255
Qualification (Essential) : (i) B.Sc (minimum three year course) in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology + 3 years' experience OR (ii) M.Sc in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology

Experience (Desirable) : Experience in polymer synthesis, polymer characterization, experience in animal experimentation, sample collection for serum analysis.

Job description : Provide support to project team in sample collection, preparation and analysis of biological samples and documentation of results; maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies; Assist the project team in polymer synthesis, cell isolation, 3D Bioprinting and animal experiments; Documentation related to project - SOPs, Log Books, Specimen records, Sample records, Test results, etc.

Monthly emoluments : Rs.28,000/- + 18% HRA for 1st & 2nd year, Rs.29,400/- + 18% HRA for 3rd & 4th year
Age limit as on 01.12.2024 : 40 years

No of post : Existing - 1 ST (Backlog) (In the absence of eligible ST candidates, SC candidates will be considered, further in the absence of SC candidates, OBC candidates will be considered and further in the absence of OBC candidates, UR will be considered)
Duration : Initially for a period upto 24.02.2026, likely to be extended upto 24.02.2028.

Those who fulfil the above requirements may report for an interview as per the above schedule alongwith duly filled Recruitment Report Form, bio-data, original and self-attested copies of certificate to prove age, qualifications, experience and a valid caste certificate (for ST / SC candidates) / non-creamy layer certificate (for OBC candidates) in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Govt. Institutions issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildar.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates reporting after 09.15 AM will NOT be considered for selection. Candidates already in service have to produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of interview. Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained AFTER acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.

Note : Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of a qualifying nature will be conducted for initial screening and only qualified candidates will be called for interview. Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.
