National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPERs) have been created by an Act of Parliament and each institute is an autonomous body functioning under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. Having been declared as “Institutes of National Importance”, NIPERs have been contributing to the growth of the pharmaceutical industry. NIPER-Hyderabad, was set up in 2007 in the erstwhile IDPL R&D centre with the support of CSIR-IICT as the mentor Institute. Ever since its inception, NIPER-Hyderabad has been function- ing with an objective to create an environment congenial for synergizing academia, R&D, and industry, through training and research. Through consistent efforts, it has transformed itself to be a world class institute of teaching and research in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Management. Post: Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow on a contract basis for the CCRUM-funded project entitled "Structural characterization, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamic and herb-drug interactions of major constituents of compound Unani formulation for diabetes" under the supervision of Dr. Chandraiah Godugu, Dr. Mohammad Zakir and Dr. Rajesh Sonti for a period of 1-2 years as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and 3rd year as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) as per the eligibility criteria of CCRUM for JRF/SRF/RA. The project collaborates with the CCRUM- NRIUMSD, Hyderabad with Dr. Mohammad Zakir.

Qualifications:
The candidate should have a Master’s degree (MS/M.Pharm/M.Sc.) with age not exceeding more than 28 years on the last date of the application.
Age relaxation will be provided as per CCRUM and GoI norms.
Preference will be given for candidates with experience in operating HPLC, preparing formulations, and in vivo pharmacology.
