NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.

Project Technical Support III (01 Position)
Project Title : “Combinatorial effects of iron and cerium oxide nanocomposites and erythropoiesis- stimulating agent for the treatment of iron deficiency and eryptosis in anaemia”.

PI : Dr. Sanjay Singh, Scientist – F.

Tenable upto : One year, likely to extended based on performance and co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Eligibility
Three Years Graduate degree in Life Sciences/equivalent + three Years post qualification experience, OR - Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences/equivalent, OR - Four Years Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/equivalent in Engineering/Technology. (The Graduate and Postgraduate degrees must be from a recognised university or equivalent).

Desired Experience : Candidate with experience in Nanoparticle synthesis, characterization, microbial and mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, DNA/RNA extraction and animal handling will be given preference.

Fellowship amount : Rs. 28,000/- + HRA (if applicable) as per the ICMR guidelines.

Age : 35 years.

Project Technical Support III (01 Position)
Project Title : “Enzyme/Nanoparticle-based hybrid nanozyme: Utilizing a cascade of pro-oxidant enzyme-mimetic activities of hybrid nanozyme for elimination of antibiotic resistant bacterial infection.

PI : Dr. Sanjay Singh, Scientist – F

Tenable upto : One year, likely to extended based on performance and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
