Interview for Professor at GGS Medical College & Hospital and UCER

Guru Gobind Singh Medical College with 1000 beds Hospital is a Punjab Government institutionestablished in 1973. The Govt. of Punjab, vide its Notification No.8/02/2005-1HB-III/6308 dated31.10.2006 transferred this college to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot as itsconstituent Medical College. The College is recognized by Medical Council of India vide its Letter No.MCI 34941(UG)2010-PUN/35407 dated 22.10.2010 for 50 MBBS admissions per year.

Walk-In-Interview to fill up the various posts purely on tenure basis for a period of one year or till the regular post is filled up whichever is earlier at GGS Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot and UCER, Faridkot, a Constitute Institution of BFUHS Faridkot.

Qualifications & Experience :- Professor (NEP/Skill Development) :-
Qualification and Experience for Professor : Ph.D. Degree in Pharmacy/ Life Sciences/ Biomedical Engineering/ Nursing/Physiotherapy/ Paramedical Sciences/ Vocational Sciences with MBA or equivalent qualification with an extensive managerial experience of at least 10 years as a coordinator/collaborator/ in reputed organizations involved in regulation, marketing services, product development, policy development, event management, innovation and startup policy/projects related to various Govt./Semi Govt. other reputed industry/ associations/ organizations related to medical/pharmaceutical/ banking and financial services/traditional sciences. Desirable: A thorough knowledge about working with Venture capitalist/angel investors issues is desirable

General terms and conditions :
1. The applicant must enclose demand draft (Non-refundable) in favour of The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot payable at Faridkot as under:
Application fee:- General Category- Rs.2360/- (Fee Rs.2000 + GST Rs.360 @ 18 %)
SC Category- Rs.1180/- (Fee Rs.1000 + GST Rs.180 @ 18 %)
2. The University has right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage without citing any reason or not to fill any or all the posts.
3. Upper Age limit: Age calculated as on 1st January of 2025.
Professor :- The candidate should not be more than 50 years of age in the case of Professor. Relaxation is upper age limit as per Punjab Govt. Rules.

4. The application on prescribed proforma must accompany self attested copies of certificates for proof of date of birth, permanent residence, marks sheet, degree, experience etc. Fees in the shape of Demand Draft must be attached with application form.
5. Applicant must possess the requisite qualification & Experience at the time of walk-in-interview.
6. Candidates already in service must route their application Through Proper Channel.
7. Selection made on the basis of any forged/false documents produced by the candidate, will be terminated at any time and legal/Departmental proceeding will be intimated.
8. The candidate must have knowledge of Punjabi language upto matriculation standard or equivalent and in case he does not, must acquire the same within six month of joining.
