National AIDS Control Organization is a division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare that provides leadership to HIV/AIDS control programme in India through 35 HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Societies. In 1986, following the detection of the first AIDS case in the country, the National AIDS Committee was constituted in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. As the epidemic spread, need was felt for a nationwide programme and an organization to steer the programme. In 1992 India’s first National AIDS Control Programme (1992-1999) was launched, and National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) was constituted to implement the programme.
Post : Consultant
The undersigned is directed to invite applications for one post of Consultant (contractual) on consolidated remuneration for a period of one month in National Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for preparation of draft formulation for carrying out amendment in the Drugs (Price Control) Order 2013.
Scope of Work - The consultant will prepare draft formulation within a period of 30 days from the day of his appointment and submit the same for approval of Competent Authority so that suitable amendments can be incorporated by DoP in Drugs (Price Control) Order, 2013 for bringing processing charges of blood and blood components under its ambit.
Requisite Qualification & Experience - As per the scope of the work, the requisite qualification of the Consultant / candidate is as under: -
1. He/she must possess Law Degree from recognised University.
2. He/ she must have experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and must have served in the field in reputed company/firm/Govt. Department.
3. He/she must have at least ten (10) years’ experience in frame/drafting /amendment / formulations.
4. Good working experience of Computers and computer software package i.e. MS Word, Excel etc. and ability to work on computer independently.
Terms Of Reference (Tors)
1. Salary - The consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- (excluding applicable TDS) for carrying out work as per' Scope of Work'
2. Period Of Engagement - The contractual appointment / period is for a period of 30 days which will be relocked from the day of his appointment.
3. Office Time And Work Hours - Engagement of consultant would be on full time basis. Working hours shall be from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. during days including half an hour lunch break from 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm. He will not be allowed to take any other assignment during the period of contractual engagement. The consultant may be called on Saturday / Sundays/ other Gazetted holiday, if required.
4. Remuneration - For the work assigned to him the by the Authority, he will be paid consolidated remuneration as prescribed for similar work/job.
5. Ta/Da - No TA/DA is admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion.
6. Leave - The consultant would not be entitled to any kind of regular leave.
7. Tax Deduction at Source - The Income Tax or any other tax liable to be deducted, as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting the payment.
8. Medical Facility - The Ministry shall not be responsible for any loss, accident, damages /injury suffered by him, whatsoever arising in or out of the execution of his work travel. No medical facility shall be provided to him/her by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
