Job Description:
Lubrizol LifeSciences (LLS) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced formulation/applications manager position at its Mumbai lab location. The person will work with the local team and collaborate with global technical organization from US, Mexico, China locations along with Particles Science Inc. team
Responsibility:
- Lead pharmaceutical formulation/applications projects in the area of oral applications and drug delivery systems for global and local market standards
- Plan formulation projects, design and conduct experiments, analyze results
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results and conclusions
- Provide projects updates through issuance of technical reports and presentations for internal and external use
- Use expertise and knowledge to promote Lubrizol technologies to accelerate product development
- Work seamlessly as a member of and LLS global technical organization and local LLS cross-functional team.
- Conduct work within Lubrizol laboratories, in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Candidate Profile :
- Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics, with 7 years of relevant pharmaceutical formulation experience in oral applications and drug delivery systems for global regulated markets
- Proficiency in design, formulation and testing of various pharmaceutical dosage forms, including solid dosage forms and drug delivery systems, as demonstrated through scientific publications, presentations and reports
- Knowledge of drug development process and global regulatory requirements
- Patent filing experience and ability to assess IP landscape and experience or familiarity with the generics and complex generics product development process would be added advantage
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
- Highly motivated toward achievements, well organized, results oriented and a team player
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
