Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Qualification: M.Sc (Virology/Microbiology Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Medical Microbiology /Life Sciences) from recognized university with 3 years research experience.
OR
Ph.D virology/Microbiology Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Medical Microbiology /Life Sciences from recognized university. (Knowledge of computer application/Data management desirable)
Salary Fix (Rs. p.m): Consolidated Rs. 33,306/month
Lab Technician
No.of post: 02
Qualification: B.Sc. (MLT) from recognized university with 2 years of experience
OR
Diploma MLT from recognized university with 5 years of experience.
Salary Fix (Rs. p.m): Consolidated Rs. 15,080/month
• These posts are purely on contract basis and on a project mode, extendable for up to completion of this project, on the basis of work performance by the concerned authority, if ICMR/DHR gives permission to extend the project.
• Candidates are required to appear for a walk-in-interview on …………. (Date) at Director Office, Pt B D Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak, at 10:00 am sharp. The original documents and certificate along with their attested photocopies related to educational qualification, date of birth, and work experience to be produced at the time of interview otherwise will not be considered for the post. Separate call letters will not be sent and no TA/DA will be paid.
• Age: Not exceeding 35 years.
• Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility to submit an application along with Bio-data and attested photocopies of the certificates must be submitted to the office of Microbiology Department, Pt B D Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak by 25/02/2015 (till 4:00 pm).
• This attachment shall not be a base for regularization of services or for any other similar purpose and shall not be challengeable in any Court of Law. The selected candidates shall have to submit an undertaking (Part-II) as per ICMR/DHR rules and Affidavit on Non-Judicial stamp paper worth Rs. 10/- attested by notary. and fitness certificate from medical board, Pt B D Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak before joining.
• Director, Pt B D Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak reserves all the rights to change the number of posts as per requirement and to cancel the interview & selection without assigning any reason thereof.
• Preference will be given to candidates for all the above posts having work experience in diagnostic virology lab / molecular biology/ animal tissue culture and willingness to travel to study sites as per instructions of principal investigator of the project.
• Distance educational qualifications will not be considered.
