The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines. TMC is an autonomous body funded, controlled by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI).
Required ‘Research Co-ordinator’ & ‘Technician’ under “Quality Assurance (QA) Program for Molecular diagnostic testing in Solid Tumors” Project (A/c. No.5386). (Initially for a period of six months)
Research Co-ordinator (01 post)
Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Life Science / biotechnology / Microbiology/ Genetics/ Applied Biology and Biochemistry with Minimum aggregate of 60% with at least 02 year of experience is mandatory.
Pay Scale : Between Rs.35,000/- to Rs.40,000/- per month (consolidated)
Technician (01 post)
Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. in Life Science/biotechnology/ Microbiology/Genetics/Applied Biology and Biochemistry with Minimum aggregate of 60% with DMLT is mandatory.
Pay Scale : Between Rs. 22,000/- to Rs.30,000/- per month (consolidated)
Desired Qualification
• The experience in molecular laboratory techniques from a reputed institute (Preferable with one publication). Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience in Lab Accreditation and Quality Control (NABL).
• Candidates with degree from distance University / Open University/ Diploma in Clinical Research are not eligible to apply. Results awaited are not eligible.
Note : The salary will be commensurate with the qualification and experience of the candidate.

The candidates are required to bring along with them updated Resume, recent Passport size Photograph, xerox copy of PAN Card, AADHAAR Card, Original Certificates and one set of attested copies of all Certificates. Internal candidates are required to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their current HOD / Principal Investigator.
