The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is a Medical Institute of Ranchi University in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, India. The college is an autonomous body established under an act of Jharkhand Assembly and is one of the premier medical colleges in the state and India. The institute was established in 1960 and was originally called Rajendra Medical College Hospital after Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The Medical College Hospital came into existence in February 1965.Dr N.L. Mitra was the first principal of the college. Dr. K.P. Shrivastava was the first director of the Institute after it was renamed.Currently RIMS is in news for its up gradation.

Qualification / Experience : Post Graduate degree M.Sc / M.Tech in Life Science / Biotechnology / Physical Science / Chemical Science / Nanotechnology with 60% of marks or equivalent to CGPA grade. Candidates having knowledge of doing ELISA Test will be given preference
Age : 30 years
Monthly remuneration (in Rs.) : Rs.31,000/- plus HRA
Note
• The candidates will have to report for interview on 10.12.2024 Dean Research office, RIMS, Ranchi,latest up to 10:00 AM.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending Walk-in-interview.
• Age relaxation may be considered for deserving candidates. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/FWD candidates will be as per the Govt, of Jharkhand rules.
• The number of posts may increase or decrease at the lime of interview.
• Appointment will be on contractual basis for a period of 4 months or till the end of project, whichever is earlier.
• No claims shall be made for permanent position in the current advertised position.
• During or after the appointment if performance of the appointee is not found satisfactory by the competent authority, the appointment can be terminated immediately any time without assigning anyreason.
• Decision of Dean Research shall be final.
