The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore is research institution under Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (iBRIC) of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. iBRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. Job Description : The opening is for a senior postdoctoral fellow to carry out quantitative image analysis to study mitochondrial function. The approach requires use of Super resolution microscopy (STED), Raman Imaging, multi-photon imaging, and fluorescence lifetime imaging+spectroscopy (FLIM). The candidate must have prior first author publication and experience in FLIM/anisotropy, and educational qualification in engineering/ mathematical / or computational sciences. These expertise is essential.

Job Description : The project is to study metabolic organization, mitochondrial function and resource allocation strategies in cells, using yeast as a model system. The candidate must have experience working with yeast, and expertise in theoretical/computational quantification of allocations made during protein translation and metabolism. The required expertise listed is essential.
Tenure : Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
