Scientific Assistant (Chemistry)
Pay : Consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 47400/-
Age Limit : Not be more than 30 years of age
Essential Qualifications / Criteria : i. Master’s degree in Forensic Science with specialization in (Forensic Chemistry) /# Forensic Science/ Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Forensic Pharmacology from a recognized University.
(#Candidate having Masters’ degree in Forensic Science must have studied minimum 4 subjects from any of the above mentioned disciplines at Masters' level)
ii. Should have adequate knowledge of English, Hindi.
Desirable : i. Experience and specialization in the field of Forensic Chemistry and allied subjects.
ii. FACT qualified
Scientific Assistant (Toxicology)
Pay Consolidated : monthly salary of Rs. 47400/-

Master’s degree in Forensic Science with specialization in Biotechnology/# Forensic Science/ Forensic Biotechnology/Forensic Genomics and Biocomputing/ Molecular Biology and r-DNA Technology/ Immunological Techniques and Forensic Proteomics from a recognized University.
(#Candidate having Masters’ degree in Forensic Science must have studied minimum 4 subjects from any of the above mentioned disciplines at Masters’ level)
ii. Should have adequate knowledge of English, Hindi.
Desirable :
i. Experience and specialization in the field of Forensic Biotechnology.
ii. FACT qualified
Important Note
1. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure his/her eligibility for the post before appearing for the Interview.
2. Candidate will be only allowed to appear before the interview panel, subject to his/her eligibility.
3. Depending on the number of candidates for the post, interviews may go till late in the day or may require to be conducted on the subsequent day. The candidates are required to make their arrangement accordingly.
General Instructions
1. The Experience and Qualification will be reckoned as per the last date of submission of the Application.
2. Applicants are advised to submit the documents related to their Change of Name (if applicable) (i.e., Marriage Certificate, Gazette for Name Change, Aadhar Card).
3. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the posts, without assigning any reason and no notice will be issued in this regard.
4. The University shall verify the antecedents and documents submitted by candidates at any time, at the time of appointment. In case it is detected any time, even during the service, that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidates have undesirable clandestine antecedents/background and have suppressed the said information, his / her services shall be liable to be terminated.
5. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issuance of the appointment letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidates.
6. Wherever grading or any other system than the percentage is followed, the result of the candidate should be converted into a percentage on the basis of the percentage conversion table declared by the concerned university.
7. The candidate will be required to produce all the original documents relating to educational qualifications, experience, and other essential requirements, etc. in original at the time of the interview, failing which, his candidature stands cancelled.
8. Canvassing in any form on behalf of or by any candidate will disqualify him/her from being considered.
9. Notwithstanding anything contained herein, the University reserves the right to (a) offer the post at a level lower than that advertised depending upon the qualifications, experience, and performance of the candidates, by relaxing any of the requirements; (b) draw reserve panel(s) against the possible vacancies in the future; (c) consider “in¬absentia” the candidature of those who may or may not have applied, or may have applied for higher positions; (d) relax any of the qualifications/experience at its discretion and not to fill-up any or all of the advertised positions.
10. The medium of instruction in respect of all courses conducted in the School, Centers and Department, admitted to the privileges of the University shall be English.
11. The University reserves the right;
a. To withdraw the advertisement either partly or wholly at any time without assigning any reason to this effect.
b. To fill or not to fill up some or all the posts advertised for any reasons whatsoever.
c. To increase/decrease the number of posts after the due procedure.
12. The University will not be responsible for any loss of any communication due to the wrong email id provided by the candidates.
13. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview.
14. All Communication to the eligible candidate by email only.
15. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the University in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, the conduct of examination/interview will be final and no query or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or his/ her agency.
16. Candidates, who have obtained degrees or diplomas or certificates for various courses from any Institution declared fake/derecognized by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi shall not be eligible for being considered for recruitment to the posts advertised.
17. No person shall be recruited unless he/she is in good mental and physically fit and free from any physical defect that is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his official duties.
18. Candidates in their own interest are advised to check regularly the University website nfsu.ac.in. They should also regularly check their email account for updates.
19. All documents to be submitted by the candidates should be serially numbered and indexed.
20. The terms and conditions of appointment shall be communicated in the form of an “Offer of Appointment” to selected candidates. If the candidate does not accept the terms and conditions mentioned in the offer of appointment within the stipulated time, the offer shall be treated as withdrawn.
21. In case of any dispute, suit, or legal proceeding against the university, the jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.
22. Amendments/changes if any in the advertisement shall be published only on the university website nfsu.ac.in.
23. Interview will be conducted for the above posts on 19/12/2024,23/12/2024 & 24/12/2024 at NFSU Delhi Campus. Interview Reporting time is 09:00 AM.
24. Reservation will be followed as per norm of Government of India.
25. In Case of large of number of application University reserves the right to conduct.
