Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and five inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes.

Applications are invited for a Walk in interview for the following post(s) in the project entitled, "Structural and functional investigation of mammalian cell entry (MCE) proteins from human pathogens: development of structure-based lead molecules" at the department of Biosciences & Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.
Qualification:
Post Graduate degree in basic science (M.Sc./ BE. B.Tech/ B.VSc/ B.Pharm) or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
1. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship(Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by CentraI Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs,DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc,IISCR etc
Total Pay Amount: Rs 30250
Pay recommendation: 25000; HRA: Rs. 4000; Medical Required: 1250

Venue: Conference room, BSBE. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately. Advance copy of CV may be sent to the Principal Investigator.
No campus accommodation will be available for the selected candidates.No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the test and interview.
