University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore, a premier institution of agricultural education and research in the country, began as a small agricultural research farm in 1899 on 30 acres of land donated by Her Excellency Maharani Kempa Nanjammanni Vani Vilasa Sannidhiyavaru, the Regent of Mysore and appointed Dr. Lehmann, German Scientist to initiate research on soil crop response with a Laboratory in the Directorate of Agriculture. Later under the initiative of the Dewan of Mysore Sir M. Vishweshwaraiah, the Mysore Agriculture Residential School was established in 1913 at Hebbal which offered Licentiate in Agriculture and later offered a diploma programme in agriculture during 1920. The School was upgraded to Agriculture College.

Applications are invited in the prescribed form from eligible candidates for filling up of the following Service Personnel Posts in University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.

Scale of pay : Rs. 27650-52650

Qualifications
(a) Must have passed SSLC.
(b) Must have a Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 3 years experience in Government hospital or with a registered Medical Practitioner

Instructions:
1. The reservation in respect for persons belonging to Hyderabad - Karnataka region is made as per Government Notification 06-11-2013 and 20-01-2014 and amendments made from time to time.
2. Application Fee: General Merit candidates Rs.600/-, Cat- 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Rs.300/-
3. SC / ST / Cat-I/ Physically Challenged/Ex-servicemen or children of Defence personnel! killed or disabled in action are exempted from payment of application fee provided they produce the appropriate certificate in this behalf.
4. Number of vacancies notified under this notification is subject to alteration and the University reserves the right to fill in / not to fill in any or all the vacancies notified.
5. The entire Notification along with the detailed qualifications prescribed for the posts and the prescribed application is accessible and can be downloaded from the official website of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore (uasbangalore.edu.in). The candidates who wish to apply for the said posts may refer the official website of UAS, Bangalore.

6. Filled in applications together with allied enclosures should be submitted in an envelope, superscribing on it, "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF____________" to THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER. UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES, GKVK, BENGALURU-560065 on or before 28-01-2020. The filled in applications must accompany the prescribed fee of Rs.600/- for GM, Rs.300/- for Cat- 2A,2B,3A,3B in the form of Demand Draft in favour of "The Comptroller, UAS, Bangalore".
7. For Claiming reservation under Hyderabad-Karnataka region, Candidale has to enclose requisite certificate issued by the competent Authorities in support of their claim.
8. Only the candidates belonging to Hyderabad Karnataka region would be considered against the notified posts, other candidates need not apply. If the University receives any application other than HK, the application and Demand draft will not be returned.
9.  In case candidates belonging to Hyderabad Karnataka region are not available for the posts reserved for the said category, the vacancy will be carried forward for future notification.
10. In case of non availability of suitable / eligible applicants for the posts earmarked for OBCs (i.e., Cat-1,2A,28.3A,3B) the respective posts will be carried forward as Backlog posts, as per Government Order.
11. Candidates claiming reservation under Rural category and Kannada medium quota should possess the certificates of study in Rural Areas and Kannada Medium (from 1st to 10th standard or qualification prescribed for the Post) issued by the competent authorities.
12. The applicants belonging to General category, who claim reservation under Rural quota, have to produce a certificate issued by the competent authority confirming that they do not come under the purview of Creamy layer in the prescribed form.
13. The application fee will not be reimbursed.
14. The candidates who have studied under Trimester System and other than 10 point grading system are required to produce the certificate of equivalent percentage obtained from the competent authority.
15. Separate application is to be sent for each post.
16. Knowledge of reading and writing kannada is desirable
17. The maximum age prescribed for applying to posts of Service Personnel (Non- Teaching Posts) is 40 years. (This does not apply to UAS regular in-service candidates)
18. Candidates already in service (Government / Quasi Government ) should submit their applications through proper channel. Such of those Candidates who are in service, if are anticipating delay in sending their applications through proper channel, they may submit advance copy of the application along with application photocopy of the application fee. If the applicant is an permanent employee in any Government Department or any other State Government or Central Government or Quasi Government or any other University and made application without consent of the Head of the Department or of the Government or Head of the University / Institution as the case may be under which he / she was employee is not eligible for appointment for any post notified.

19. All late, incomplete applications and without payment of prescribed tees are liable to be rejected.
20. The candidate is liable to face action, deemed fit, if he / she furnishes any false information in the application form.
21. Selection of the candidates shall be based on the Written / Practical Test. The Short listed candidates based on the order of merit shall be called for verification of originals in the ratio of 1:5 for each post based on the roster.
22. The appointed candidates shall serve for a minimum period of five years at the place of posting.
23. The appointed candidates will be governed by the Statutes and Regulations of the University.
24. The candidates have to enclose their marks cards of all years / semesters of SSLC / PUC / Bachelor's and Master's Degree and any other higher qualification, if any, Only attested copies of the certificates should be enclosed along with the applications.
25. The candidate has to attend the Test / Verification of Documents at his/her own
cost

26. The appointment shall be subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility conditions prescribed by the University.
27. No recommendation should be forwarded to the University. Canvassing in any form amounts to disqualification for the Candidature.
28 The Selected candidates will be coming under the New Pension Scheme as per the Government Order and as amended from time to time.
29. The Selected candidates have to produce Police Verification Certificate issued by the Competent Authority. If, the Police Verification Certificate reveals that the candidate is involved in any criminal case or is involved in act which attracts moral turpitude will result in cancellation of his / her selection. However, production of Police Verification Certificate is not mandatory for candidates who are already in regular service of Government / Statutory Bodies / Universities.
30. Working hours of the University: 8.30AM to 4.00PM (Saturday 8.30 AM to 12.45 PM)
