Post: Outsourcing and Contract Manager
Responsibilities:
1) Realisation of strategic outsourcing decisions (e.g. ensuring the global bundling of Grünenthal’s buying power with preferred external suppliers for particular service areas and stakeholder management within the functional departments)
2) Selection and contracting of external suppliers, preparation of individual contracts following agreed templates and requirements for legal and patent protection
3) Clinical trial related purchasing activities
Financial administration of contracts, purchase orders and invoices in Grünenthal’s global accounting system
4) Periodic development/review of the cooperation with the external suppliers
5) Performance analysis and management of external suppliers on a global level.
6) Support the Study OCM in outsourcing, contracting and vendor management related activities as requested including connected administration.
7) Lead/support connected infrastructure projects
Candidate Profile
- University degree, knowledge in business administration, and/or commercial apprenticeship beneficial.
- 1-2 years industry experience in drug development preferred and good understanding of CRO business model required including awareness of potential opportunities as well as restrictions of outsourcing
- Experience in selecting and managing suppliers for in- or outsourced tasks
- Experience in contracting around clinical trials
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry processes with focus on operational perspective of Research and Development
- Experience in quality management beneficial
- Fluent Business English and ability to interact and network effectively
- Excellent negotiation, conflict management and strong communication skills
- Organizing ability
- International/ intercultural working experience
